Snakes are reptiles and breathe air. They drown under water like mammals and birds. There are a couple of species of aquatic snakes but they have to come up for air like dolphins and sea turtles. For a snake to survive a journey through the plumbing... well, "very unlikely" doesn't really cover it. How about, "More likely to be hit by a meteor."One thing that I'm scared of in the dark is a snake coming out the toilet. I usually don't turn the light on in the bathroom during the night, because the fan is really loud, so I need to sit down to take a pee. Very unlikely to happen, but I suppose that's fears for you

Heh, when I was about 5 or 6, I used to be scared that while I'd been to the toilet, a snake would have crept into my bed, so I always used to leap into bed, to crush it. .
I noticed a tiny mistake in that chart -
Why would there ever be an evolutionary stage which created "modern bird", without pressure to necessitate it?
