Earth is a miracle in it's self a total masterpiece,a well-tuned organism whirling through space,from the beauty of flamingos flashing pinkas they land on an African laketo the awesome destructive power of a volcano, nature is never less than impressive, master pieces of the earth, desert masterpiece Death valley, california,the lowest place in the western hemisphere, ice, glaciers/icebergs/can anyone add to these and this thread.

The death planet upon which a majority of the life forms kill to survive and
all the life forms are, in one way or another, in constant competition.

:bugeye: The rock with some water and some green stuff about it that has been the home of countless billions of creatures, our ancestors through time from the smallest crack of history. Some small variation is our definition of a life interface, we find beauty in our home. The water over the rocks, the air compressed the dirt; trees over sky. earths masterpieces

What i meant was the masterpieces that have been created by mother earth, like the wave sculpted in an austrailian rock, i beleave some people call it the surfers dream wave,mother nature carved this into the rock, then there is the grand canyon,which is suposed to be the deepest scar in the earths surface, that is the masterpieces of nature.
 
Oh yeah, Destruction is beauty. Crags, rocks and such. It's all a masterpiece of mindless destruction, 'tis all. Earth is a machine of mindless destruction.

are a masterpiece of mindless destruction. Earth, with her Waterfalls, Vulcano's, Earthquakes, colourful Nature and Animals is a masterful piece of Life...:cool:

And all part of the Cosmos, All That Is...;)

Banshee i agree with you humans are a masterpiece of destruction, maybe it's because not all of us can see earths true beauty,no matter how ugly it might look even a volcano can cause beauty, because it was volcanoes created the island of hawaii.:)
 
;) Humans are masters of a different kind of destruction-in most cases, ugly destruction. I live in NJ and what I see in some of the tangled choked highways that are so prevelant here is destruction, because the garbage and the greyness and the sick is just alien. Beautiful, I suppose, in its own alien sort of way, yet it's the kind of destruction that wasn't plugged in when we all started out.

;) We are, in fact, the current end product of Gaia's destruction. Destruction, when done in natural taste, creates the greatest beauty, and can only do so undisturbed. All life is destruction, or else it would just pile up. :D

Unfortunatly people still prefer to live in poluted, crowded, noisy and confusing big cities fighting each day of their lifes for a damn piece of green paper... when there's so much green and beauty in Nature...

I agree... Earth is beautifull...
