The speed of flying saucers and blinking out phenomenon

Perhaps not. Perhaps they did generate and release it, but sadly they no longer exist except in the "cooked goose" form.

They obviously would not be in the same vicinity as creating the Planck energy. The realistic science behind it isn't that a wormhole is impossible to create, no scientists fully states this. The problems are keeping it open, which requires an antigravity substance, or exotic matter in other words.

Read any popular literature on it you want, it will tell you the same thing.

Not very obvious to me. In fact the opposite is. If they make and sustain a worm hole (even granting that is possible, which I doubt) both they and the energy are in the worm hole or going thru it.

Why do your think they can sustain and use the worm hole and have the energy (and more importantly the heat energy expended makes) else where?

Billy, if they are able to harness enough energy to produce a wormhole, I'm sure they would have found a way over any of the technical difficulties which follow.

No no no, you have to break out of space-time to travel faster than the speed of light. Wormholes are bullshit.

It is impossible to break out of space and time, it would violate a rule of relativity, that being that everything which happens strictly happens within space and time. I can't remember if it was this thread or another, but you talked about travelling in hyperspace by breaking out of space and time. I hope you can understand why that is an oxymoron.

Things must happen in space and time, nothing can happen by somehow ''jumping outside of it.'' The reason why, is because there is no outside to spacetime, the spacetime vacuum encompasses everything we know.

No, you're just too dumb to understand what I'm saying.

Nope. There is NO "breaking out" of spacetime. That's just more of your uneducated nonsense. Sort of sad that you wasted so much of your life when you actually could have been learning something. Tell us - did you ever finish highschool??

So you are making up facts to support your insults? This is a science website. So discuss science or get the hell off.

I'm waiting for your reply about highschool. It's pretty obvious by your avoiding the question that you didn't even finish OR that's as far as you went. Sad, really. (sigh)

I think you should stay on topic before I report you for flaming.

Just because we are in the conspiracy section doesn't give you a free pass to be a jerk.

A lot of effort has been spent discussing this:
I beg your pardon, but these objects sped off at speeds approx. 7000 mph under only a few seconds.
As is typical, you've provided no evidence or sources for this claim, but here's what the wiki has to say:
By this time (9:30 p.m.) the radar center was picking up unknown objects in every sector. At times the objects traveled slowly; at other times they reversed direction and moved across the radarscope at speeds calculated at 7,000 mph. At 11:30 p.m., two jet fighters from Newcastle AFB in Delaware arrived over Washington. Capt. John McHugo, the flight leader, was vectored towards the radar blips but saw nothing, despite repeated attempts.

There were multiple incidents over several days and you are mixing-and-matching to try to paint a picture that is much more solid than what actually happened: No object was ever observed to travel at such speeds. Radar contacts that were likely false readings were clocked at high speeds, but no visual sightings of those objects were made. Yes, fighters were scrambled to intercept. They tried and failed to intercept ghosts.

Actually, if you read the article again, it clearly states that when the pilots confirmed the objects flew away at high speeds, is at that exact moment radar confirmed the object disappearing off their screens.

It was from this they determined the speed of the objects.

'' Pierman was in radio contact with Barnes during his sighting, and Barnes later related that "each sighting coincided with a pip we could see near his plane. When he reported that the light streaked off at a high speed, it disappeared on our scope."

''Meanwhile, Albert M. Chop, the press spokesman for Project Blue Book, arrived at National Airport and refused several reporters' requests to photograph the radar screens. He then joined the radar center personnel.[12] By this time (9:30 p.m.) the radar center was picking up unknown objects in every sector. At times the objects traveled slowly; at other times they reversed direction and moved across the radarscope at speeds calculated at 7,000 mph.''

From here there is no denying that the objects visual speeds described as ''incredible'' definitely coincided with the calculations of it's speed based on the radarscope.

Post the quote please. I'm not seeing it.

If that's supposed to be the supporting quote, it isn't: The first section and the second section do not coincide. "disappeared" is not the same as "...at speeds calculated at 7,000 mph." Heck, those are different sections of the wiki, describing events that happened a week apart! Remember that lying we just discussed...?

The trajectories of the objects where real, the confirmation of the objects was made. The speeds where calculated.

It's simple. I'm sorry if you can't get your head round this. I know you are desperately trying to find a loophole.

The two quotes are describing events that happened a week apart. If you aren't lying here, then I've seriously overestimated your intelligence.
