Do you truly exist?
IF you think you are just made up of chemical elements, gone into nothingness after death (decomposed into original basic elements), then your existance now is not permanent, it is not true existance, just a Subsistance.

in this case, you do not exist, but subsist on certain conditions.
right?

If there truly is NOTHING awaiting me after physical death, I will
not know it: it will simply be a pleasant sleep devoid of dreams.
If, however, SOMETHING does happen after physical death, Yippy
kai Yay Muthafuka...

I personally believe in the latter and no, I will not extrapolate on
my reasons for choosing so.

To answer your question: do I exist ?

Based on the consistency of my conscious reality, indeed. Yes, we
can argue that this position is indefensible but so is stating that
we don't exist.

Cheers...

i believe our souls is eternal.
if we cease existing after death, you can't call it a sleep, because every sleep shall wake up.

Must you be so literal ??

All dreams aside, are you aware of yourself when sleeping ?
No ? MY POINT EXACTLY.

Why do you think they say "after death, your final sleep awaits" ?

Futurist: Can you please define what you mean
by true exsitence, subsistance, and subsist?

true existance means you do not need other conditions to exist, not food, air, water etc. you just exist forever and never die.

in dictionary, subsist is used with the preposition ON,
you subsist on air, food , water etc. to survive.

clear?

Probably clear as it's gonna get. Thanks for your reply.

subsist

Do you truly exist?

No, I subsist. I also hyperxist. Overxist and also provide a good argument against non-existance. In my spare time I write greeting cards.
