They had the choice between killing themselves and being killed by the Romans. They chose the former, which is what I think I would have done.

Oh, I dunno, Xev. Maybe it proves that an agitator threw it on the ground in Qalqilya, then lurked around the corner with a camera, waiting for some unsuspecting Palestinians to pick it up and wonder, "what is THIS thing doing here?"

Just one interpretation, I guess. :D

The Romans had offered a peaceful resolution at Masada. The Jewish dudes up top ignored it and went around killing their kids and all. Nice. Sick bastards. For those who don't know, teh very same thing happened in the crusades in Europe. As crusader armies marched across the continent on their way south-east, rumours spread ahead of them of nasty activities. In some cities, entire Jewish settlements committed suicide well before anyone even vaguely threatening had even come close to endangering them. Again, they went about cutting their kids' throats and all. Bloody awful stuff.

Im surprised by that coment. I thought that opinion was all through ALL my posts. It IS the sorce of all the worlds problems from the school yard to the work place, sports events, religon, demestic politics and WORLD politics.

Ah but Asgaurd, we are different races.

My way of looking at it though is, we are segregated because we choose to segregate. Why in Canada is there a special award show for Native American musicians? Why not just put an award in for Native Music in the Junos (Canadian Music Awards - and there is an award in there for it)? Because the Natives want to segregate themselves.

Humans choose to segregate themselves when it benefits them.
