I was not emotionally moved.
I am an atheist and as Jan will tell you we dont experience emotions or sence of beauty☺.
It is no more than curious.

I "discovered" by accident, in so far as I took a photo unaware of the "discovered" object, of a Nova.
The others were excited but I saw it for what is was...dumb luck covered in ignorance☺.
In the shots herewith you can see where it wasnt☺
I took the photo of a wider field two days before it was discovered and realised I may have got it before anyone else...which may be the case.

But I was not moved☺.

Here it is...nothing to get excited about.

Emotions should be banned or at the very least supressed to the point of causing mental disorders.

I am not sure what you are referring to.

I am guessing that you are referring to my claim that the Adam & Eve Garden of Eden story is a myth rather than historical fact.

From my Post 347
The fossil record contains facts & indicates quite a few series of of creatures starting with early primates. One of those series led to modern Homo Sapiens. Others led to gorillas, baboons, chimps, et cetera.

That fossil record is contrary to the story of Adam, Eve, & the Garden of Eden relegating the Biblical account to to the level of mythology.

The fossil record provides facts. The Old Testament provides beliefs of folks from long ago.

The facts f the fossil record are surely more reliable than the beliefs of folks from thousands of years ago.

Note that the Old Testament accounts were maintained by the memories of folks over at least a few generations prior to being written.​

WOW! It is clearly the same coordinate, but in the right pic, the nova is the second brightest phenomena emerging from near total darkness.

Got my pulse pounding. Witnessing an event so large our imagination fails to comprehend the energy of the forces "at play".

Wait.....Michael is talking about Eve, whom God created to keep Adam company (and procreate). That is a society of two.......1 male, 1 female.

Are you telling us Eve is a transgender? An novel concept, I must admit.:confused:

Pretty sure, based on 40 years as a RN, removing a rib does not go on the OT list as a castration

Been done numerous times but main theme remains unchanged and yes it remains a best seller

If God was xx, the children can ONLY inherit x genes. If God was xy then the children can inherit EITHER an x OR a y gene.

Apologies Michael345. I see your argument now. I meant to write that God must possess xy genes because that's the only way he could create both male and female children: xx xy.
 
Isn't it a bit silly to discuss God's genetics? God could will his genetic contribution to Adam and Eve to be whatever he wanted it to be.
 
...if he had BOTH genes himself the children could inherit EITHER.

But I agree with you JamesR. God could will the genes to be whatever he wanted. Of course should he genetically alter himself for how he WAS, the change would still only effect him for how he IS. Should he wish to become a women so He can give birth to Adam and Eve, the genetic manipulation would only effect him in the PRESENT, not how he WAS. Time-travel is impossible. :)
