The Universe , an unspecified volume of spatial points , has always existed and always will . Formally known as space , space cannot be created or destroyed , does not age and is an immovable reference frame . Newton was correct in his absoluteness of space.
Later in time , Einstein wrongly presented space-time as been an interwoven fabric of space and time . What Einstein really meant was that space-time energy was indistinguishable from space because of the transparent nature of spatial fields and space .
Space , an unspecified volume of spatial points can be described R^n , real coordinate space that is n-dimensional , any given point of R^n having a uniform value of 0 , negative of energy . R^n always existing before any epoch of time could begin forming matter and history.
Time is the beginning of recorded history , we measure time at 1.s of history per 1.s of time passed measure . Time cannot exist without some thing to time ,matter cannot exist without a R^n to exist in, therefore time cannot exist without a R^n to exist in .
Matter is distinguishable from R^n and all matter is in a state of motion relative to R^n and can be timed. Therefore time, the recording of history , is dependent to the observer rather than being an independent entity .

In present scientific consensus , it is believed the epoch of time began from a high dense state but this theory formally known as the big bang theory , does not explain how this high dense state was formed , a shortfall in physics .
As previously mentioned , any epoch of time requires a pre-existing R^n to be formed in and too occupy , space cannot be created or destroyed . Before the Big Bang and/or any event , the physics are simply that the space had to pre-exist event or the event could not occur.
It is physical factual that for relative motion to occur , that motion has to have sufficient space to allow the displacement of the matter in motion . A Big Bangs motion of expansion could not occur without free space to expand into , without doubt , space is absolute.
