In theory, they have rights, but in practice its unrealistic to aim for equality.

I've read studies of family stress post 9-11 in places far away from NY and it really flabbergasts me that people who study this stuff have to taught what would happen if there was a 9-11 24/7 all year around in your neighborhood for decades, sometimes centuries.

This is the first time I have seen these pics and it is discusting what happens to women in these countries. They are people too how would the pricks that through the acid or burned these girsl while they sleep feel if someone did the same to them. I thought it has more to do with the fact that women in such patriarchal societies ought to know their position and subdue themselves to men.

Perhaps, but there are statistically much fewer homosexuals than heterosexuals in any given population, so the percentage that choose to vent their frustrations would be that much smaller too.
