White Shirts, Ties and Black Slacks

Life is such a wonderful curiosity. Throughout mine I have seen a lot. One reoccurring theme is the two young men wearing white shirts, ties and black slacks. They walk together down the sidewalk in residential neighborhoods. I've seen them since I was very young. Not everyday, mind you, but maybe once every so often--like years apart. Today I spotted them on my way to pick up a pack of smokes. It was raining, and I thought about offering them a ride, but the opportunity was not right.

My door sign say "Our dogs are fed on the bodies of Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormon missionaries. Would you like to stay for lunch?" Below that is a picture of the largest pack of Mexican wolves seen in the past century.

I've attended many different denominations of Christianity including the local ward of the Latter day Saints.....
The fact that they send out young men and young women who are extremely polite and
somewhat unsure themselves on various doctrines is kind of brilliant.........

Something that they have in their favour is an exceptionally merciful teaching on what happens to all of us after death.....
Latter day Saints have been taught that there is hope for unsaved deceased....
and that the dead can learn and advance upward out of the scary afterlife realms.....

I am not a Latter day Saint but I do consider it to be a privilege to study with them online regularly.....
I personally find it moving how they pray and ask for continual guidance by the Holy Spirit......

The spirits are classified according to the purity of their lives and their obedience to the will of the Lord while on earth. The righteous and the wicked are separated (see 1 Nephi 15:28–30), but the spirits may progress as they learn gospel principles and live in accordance with them. The spirits in paradise can teach the spirits in prison (see D&C 138).

D & C = Doctrine and Covenants which is one of the many books by Mr. Joseph Smith.... who does impress me as probably having had some sort of experience.... perhaps somewhat like an NDE?????
