i would suppose by the use of tags, like the I for italic or QUOTE tags for quotes.

 

I can see the code if I hit the "quote" link.

 

just enter it in between the s and slash s with brackets.

 

I used a pen.

 

I refuse to do that. Instead, I will write the text first and put the s and slash s around the text.

You also didn't know — most people here don't — that that URL takes you to the profile of the last poster in that forum, rather than one single user's (note "lastposter" in the URL). When the last poster changes, so does the profile you're taken to.
