I disagree. You don't answer things. That's how you defend a worldview that is basically indefensible. But, how is it that I have no perception of god at all? I have stated that once in a while, under certain mental states, I have perceived hallucinations of god-like beings. I don't believe they are real, because there is no connection between those perceptions and reality, apart from the reality that I would already be aware of as the source of those hallucinations. How do you know that you aren't hallucinating?
Because no one does. No one has been able to demonstrate that they perceive god. And I don't believe you do either.
I believe that someone who makes an assertion on this forum should have evidence to support it. But in general, people believe things for many reasons, some of them bad.
