Well here is the problem comrade; your man "The Donald" is the subject of an FBI criminal investigation. His campaign is under investigation for collusion with a hostile foreign power, and Trump is under investigation for obstruction of justice and abuse of power, and will probably be under investigation for a few other things like money laundering and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act before this is over. Those are hard facts comrade. Those aren't unfounded right-wing conspiracies like Pizzagate. Unfortunately for you and your comrades, this isn't like the baseless accusations folks like you and your fellow Republicans have leveled at Hillary for the last 30 years. This is real, and it could leave Trump bankrupt again and in a jail cell.

The Democrats have no real power. They lost the house, senate, judicial and then the executive branch. They are paper tigers, that look scary from a distance, but can't do anything, legally. The only power they have left is illegal and unethical. Trump is dismantling their dreamworld and a cornered rat becomes more and more dangerous when they have no way to escape. Their scam is to put Trump in a hole to create the illusion of them rising above. If you are five feet tall, and place a six foot person, in 13 inch hole, you can appear 1 inch taller. It is an illusion of having power, which is not real, but is needed less their base see they are being dismembered and set back decades.
The obstruction of justice scam works like this. Say I accuse you of stealing, which you know you did not do. However, you are being accused by a cornered rat, so you need to defend yourself to maintain your honor against the made up charge. Because you defend yourself, you are then accused of obstructing an investigation, into a witch hunt and scam. This charge will not stick, but it is designed to put Trump in a hole to diminish some of his power, so the left can appear to have power. This is all show for their base.
A second motivation for all this conspiracy theory is connected to money. The New York Times and CNN were losing market share until Trump showed up on the scene; primary season. Newspapers have become dinosaurs because of the internet. Trump was a showman and knew how to draw audiences with his unorthodox political style. Trump threw these failing businesses a bone by his style and charisma. Both these failing businesses had some of their biggest audiences in years because of Trump. This got them back in the black.
They are continuing this recipe for success by making Trump part of every lead and front page story. Conspiracy theory is one way to make an old gimmick appear to be fresh each day. You make a mountain out of a mole hill, but as long as Trump is in the photo, it sells. Trump is about business and jobs so he may see this as creating jobs, so he is giving it slack. It is helping failing businesses and creating new jobs for conspiracy experts and advertisers. This helps the unemployment rate.
What Trump should do is further help the media industry by adding investigations into Hillary, Bill and Loretta Lynch to conspiracy TV and news in the fall schedule. This will provide everyone with more programming options, so as people get bored of, "where is Trump today", they can watch something else that has more substance. Since this is all about money, even the leftist propaganda rags, will need to broadcast this new programming, or risk losing market share. Business is cut throat.

Actually, Democrats can do a lot... for example, they can hold this senate health care bill up in amendment purgatory, since the way McConnell and Co are trying to force it through requires that an "unlimited number of amendments" be allowed to be considered.

You mean like Republicans did when Democrats were in power? But here is the difference, Republicans are facing multiple calamities of their own making. Now that Republicans are in power, the many Republican lies of the last decade are catching up with them. Unfortunately for Republicans, that's not an illusion. That's a fact.
Obstruction of justice is not a scam comrade, it's a crime. If all Trump had to worry about were cornered rats he'd be a much better position. Trump doesn't have to worry about a rat problem, because he is the cornered rat. For nearly 30 years cornered Republican rats have accused Hillary of everything from simple malfeasance, running a child sex ring in a pizza store front, to serial murder all without a shred of evidence. What Trump now faces is none of that. Trump faces some very real legal problems. That's why he, his family, and his staff have all lawyered up.
Trump is under suspicion of obstruction because without merit he fired the policeman charged with investigating his crimes and after that policeman refused to swear a personal oath of loyalty to Trump. Unlike your Republican allegations against Democrats of the last 3 decades, this isn't a show. This is very real. There is nothing unreal about a federal criminal investigation comrade.

Well here is the thing comrade, the truth isn't a conspiracy. It's just the truth. Trump is the least transparent POTUS since Nixon. He has many conflicts of interest which Republicans have overlooked. If Trump were a Democrat I'm sure you and those like you would view those "mole hills" as m mountains. If Trump is about business and jobs, he has done a piss poor job of it. Labor force participation is the lowest it has been since 1977. The monthly jobs numbers are lower than they have been in many years, and moving lower. Trump hasn't created any jobs.
Trump's job approval ratings have been the lowest of any president at this point in their administration. Trump entered office with a job approval rating of 45% at a time when this rating is normally at a zenith. By comparison Obama's job approval rating was 68%. Trump's current job approval rating has sunk to 36%. Trump hasn't been about to get any of his signature legislation through a Congress his party controls. That's not a conspiracy comrade; that's a fact.
Well here is the thing comrade: a) Hillary, Bill, and Loretta, aren't in public office; b) Trump and his merry band of Republicans are; c) Republicans have spent nearly 3 decades and tens if not hundreds of millions of public dollars investigating Hillary and Bill and found essentially nothing; d) this isn't about "leftist propaganda", it's about your worst nightmare, the truth.
A) Bill, Hillary, and Loretta aren't in public office.
B) They have already been investigated to hell and back and nothing found.
C) You need the layoff the fantasies about eating your children.

Trump's lawyer just hired a lawyer.
The special prosecutor that's investigating Trump is now widening to encompass his stepson's business dealings. (His stepson, Kushner, is also one of his closest advisors.)
Trump is also now personally part of a criminal investigation, which Trump confirmed in a tweet. His lawyer immediately denied this. Then he confirmed it.
I'd say it isn't dwindling down. In fact, it's growing at Mueller hires more people to investigate more of Trump's dealings.
Remember when Ken Starr started off investigating a real estate deal, and ended up with a blue dress? I can see the same happening here.
Unlike White Water there is some real meat here. Already there is enough evidence to begin arresting Trump associates. Flynn and Manafort have committed crimes. They operated as foreign agents and failed to disclose as they were required to do. And that's just scratching the surface.
