God couldn't make this, so it evolved near water hence eggs and beak, left land became a "kind" of its own. Only evolution could create something as wrong.
God couldn't make this,
Perfection can be perfected. This makes me wonder if God could rationalize creation in a singularity. I once saw that Gods demeanor is constantly created and destroyed. If anything God created the devil (hatred, and suffering) and one day it will be dead and gone.
It's just an unusual set of adaptations, but it works for this animal in it's environment.God couldn't make this, so it evolved near water hence eggs and beak, left land became a "kind" of its own. Only evolution could create something as wrong.

It wouldn't be even if I had any. You haven't said why a platypus is "wrong". Is it because it is unlike other animals that you are familiar with?Your faith in science is admirable.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic. I'm going to assume you're not, though I may be mistaken.Oh yes, it's completely unique in the animal World.

How is the platypus unique? Does it defy Darwinian evolution? What does not unique look like?
What kind of argument is that?Show me a picture of something anatomically or looks like a platypus...
What kind of argument is that?
Show me a picture of something that looks like a giraffe.
Show me a picture of something that looks like a snake.
Show me a picture of something that looks like a nudibranch.
So, no answer then.Listen, if you want me to make you look like a complete fool I can do, but I'll avoid this stupid post.
So, no answer then.
Show me an animal that looks somewhat like a giraffe but is not a giraffe, and I'll show you an animal that looks somewhat like a platypus but is not a platypus.
A giraffe does not lay eggs. Why would you think so?Show me a picture of a giraffe that lays eggs.

You still haven't shown me what makes an animal not unique. What was that? Avoidance is dishonourable, or something?
But here is an Echidna - a monotreme - an egg-laying mammal.

Not sure how that's germane, but here you go.Thanks for the picture, lovely species, I wonder what the eggs are like? Same goes for this https://healthypets.mercola.com/sites/healthypets/archive/2016/02/23/platypus-facts.aspx

I Googled "Echidna eggs".
Also, not sure what we're arguing about. We both agree Platypus are the product of evolution.
It was just your logic that God couldn't have made them that I found strange. It doesn't speak to theists at all.
For those who believe in God, platypus are simply another creature. It's not like they think God has some limited set of parts he can use. The platypus is only unusual inasmuch as we are used to seeing waterfowl with beak-like mouth parts, and beavers with flat tails. But so what?
