Kon Ichi Wah!!!!

No I am Scandinavian. My blood line is mainly from Norway. I also have the blood of royalty in my veins, as my great great great something was the brother of a King in England.

I have noticed that the Japanese are rather sensitive about colors. Along with the French, they have the most names. The top 3 Countries to give colors the most names...AMERICA...FRANCE....JAPAN!!!

Still, none of these 3 have giving a name for the pure hue in between Azure and Blue!!! And no one has cast any votes...time is running out!!!

To A-5,
Are you going to chicken out ?????

Jozen Bo,
The red/green colourblindness is a blessing of sorts.
My father, myself and eldest son have it in varying degrees. We all have amazing eyesight and have an unusual way of seeing ( we recognise patterns and can see well at great distances).
I can spot a swamp wallaby ( small and very dark) on the road at night at a distance of maybe 400 metres, others( non r/g colourblind ) may not see it at a distance of 30 metres or not at all.
My ability to spot wildlife in camouflage situations is such that I don't even bother to point out the creatures to others, it only leads to frustration, I can see a hawk in flight and recognise the species in a second where, again, others will only perceive a largish bird.

The colour perception is strange beast, reds and greens disappear to me as brown in low light or when the shades are subtle.
As you know, many colours are combinations of red, green and others so many other colours are strange to me. I might see a bluish grey as just grey for example.

My son has it more acutely than me and will see brown where I can make out green o red as the case may be.

I dream in colour.
I actually see what I believe to be the full spectrum of colour but my perception, especially in unusual lighting conditions is different to most.

Apparently most people actually have slightly different colour perception in each eye (try this out).

It sounds like a blessing...as you describe it. Your right...one of my eyes sees color slightly different then the other. I you are happy with the way your eyes work then I'm happy for you. Why change a good thing?

As to my eyes..at this moment they are seeing color more vividly then ever. They are effecting me more then ever. I can understand why a bull is so effected by red!!!

As to the energy waves I saw...no I am not seeing them right now, and I do miss that sensation...it truely is awesome...one of the most awesome things ever!!! My ability to perceive energies has returned to normal since I stopped spinning the wheel. I only catch little glimpses now and then, whereas before I was seeing it continuosly. I am now resuming the spin and within 1 week I should start seeing stuff again. Given a 1 or 2 years and my eyes will see beyond anything normal. I am blessed too, as I know how to change my own chemistry!!!

You just described me as well :)

I thought bulls were colorblind, I mean the black & white kind.

Hi Jozen,
Colour is a fascination of mine also.
I'm red/green colourblind so I have a very different perception of colour than most.
Having said that, I think my appreciation of colour is strong and I notice more than some who don't see for looking.

Do you have a link for the colour wheel?

Ditto.

Edit: Huh I thought this was a new thread..
So Jozen, have you made up you mind yet ?

Well, i actually have a mild form of it, where certain colours are presented in letters. But enough of me.

My point was, that the condition itself replies conditionally that we can subliminally link a letter with a colour, as you can as much taste them.

All these experiences are processed very close to each other in the brain, at least that's what I've gathered. In some people there is a crossover.

Well, again, i say, you can see it from that way. Trust me. I know enough about the condition than what wiki can explain. This is only because i am a first-person shooter though.
