That's a very positive attitude, Sandy. That shows you have alot of faith in the scripture. That line of thinking is reflected in 2 Timothy 3: 16 which says. "All scripture is inspired of God for teaching and reproving, for disciplining in righteousness.". and of course knowing that the scriptures would be subject to interpretation of all kinds he gave guidence to help us discern his meaning in 2 Timothy 1:13.

Keep holding the Pattern of health words that you heard from me with the faith and love that are in connection with Christ Jesus.

That's a very important thought that not only assist us to find our way to the truth through all the traditions and interpretations that may have been inspired more of man than God, but it also clears the way of random information that also has no particular pattern, ryhme or reason.

    Good questions

Though one might have been an unbeliever, and in his/her heart God sees good things, God calls him forth.

    Proverbs 1:24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

The Wisdom of God is calling because His Father's will is to save all men.

I Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

There are people who read the Bible only to be against God's declarations. And some of them are even thankful to the words of the adversary of God.

The above were merely your self-interpretation.

Proverbs 2:6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Those believers cannot agree? Why? Let the Bible speak:

Philippians 3:2 says "Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision."

    Who are these dogs?

    Isaiah 56:11 says

"Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

    As simple as that, besides,

Philippians 1:15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

Of course, some discussed in opposition to Apostolic doctrines because of envy and strife, meaning, others envy the assembly of the saints and they want them to involve in strife. And these "some" who preach Christ of good will are none other than the brethren which are yet in the world.

1 Peter 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

I'm sorry to tell other Bible readers here

Just to clarify, the Bible is the book of the LORD,

    Isaiah 34:15 says,

"Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them."

John 1:1 says about His Word,

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Now if we refer to the Bible (actually part of the 66 books) as word of truth, there is no wrong with that because as Ephesians 1:13 says,

"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,"

It just so happened that many so-called pastors right now, refer to Dictionaries to support their stand:

    Word of God
n 1: a manifestation of the mind and will of God [syn: Word of
    God]
2: the sacred writings of the Christian religion; [syn: Bible, bible, Good
Book, Holy Scripture, Holy Writ, Scripture, Word
    of God, Word]
3: the message of the gospel of Christ [syn: Word of God]

Fuck repentance. I would take Hell any day of the week because people there at least have the good albums.

People there would actually realize that soft or hard drugs aren't bad. (Think about it really hard and you'll understand why)

call me a cynical humanist but thats the way i am.

All of this is only your own interpretation.

Every atheist and most christians know that hell is only a fable. Who but a fool would be a fanatical christian if there was even a 1% chance of burning in hell forever?

Erm, the fanatical Christian's argument would surely be "Who but a fool would not be a fanatical Christian?"

M*W: Hello, and welcome to sciforums. One would think a fable that has been around as long as this one has would be right up there with Aesop, the gods and goddesses of Greek mythology, and other entertaining fictional characters. Sadly, the joke's on them.

Dave, you simply cannot know. It would mean you'd have to die, find out where you get sent and why, and then come back to report to us. Don't forget to bring your video camera.

    True.

Every other answer is relative to that person.

All we know about death is that it is the end of life.
That is how the bible express it as well.

There is no heaven or hell it is all a great big myth. Look at all of the

humans that don't ascribe to religions whatsoever, I guess they aren't going

    anywhere are they?

Looking forward to it, eh? Well guess what...being alone--not being with one's "peeps"--is just the tip of the iceberg with respect to what hell is all about. Misery loves company remember?

What separate cells? Can we pass notes or is there a cell on every floor?

I don't mind being alone as long as there's a book at hand. If God is so forgiving why are we all in solitary confinement?

I think your god is mean. Let's dethrone him and find another one

Instead of the god who only wants cookie-cutter non-sinners lets have one who acknowledges that we are all different, then we can have two heavens. One heaven is for the tea drinking, cookie eating lambs of god and then the other can be for the wine swivelling, degenerate, devil worshipin', fun lovin folk. We can all then experience heaven in our own way. God should be reasonable...we can negotiate.

    Hmmm,

I think that Billy Graham now teaches that a non-Christian, a Muslim, or even an Atheist can go to heaven.

'Heaven' is a mental construct. It dies with the brain.
