Did Nothing Create Everything?

Or perhaps it could be both, faith and evidence based. Which is what Christianity has always claimed to be.
Religion cannot speak on the topic of science, it can only speak on supernatural issues. Religion has never proven (or disproven) anything in science and is incapable of doing so.
That it is faith, based on the written historical record. Written by real people, in real places, who had real encounters with God.
No, they believe they had supernatural encounters. Those are matters of faith, and are explicitly NOT provable. If they were, they would fall under the aegis of science.

If we took for the truth everyone who claimed to have an encounter with a god, there would be hundreds of gods existing. Today, when someone claims they've had an encounter with a god, it's requested they seek psychiatric evaluation.

They are gods. That's why they end up in the hospital. Danger to society, so they say. One day they all will be closed.

That's a huge question that would require huge answers. I can only suggest you read up on the principles of science and research practices. That alone is a lot to take in.

Ok,

Is Science capable of detecting whether or not something has been designed?

This video will answer that rather complex question for you if you're willing to sit through it, the video is very good. Short answer is that Darwin argued that things that have the appearance of design can be explained more simply by non-directed processes such as natural selection and random mutation.

I see people going beyond your description of skepticism all the time.
You can see people pretending to be Christians too. They can say they're skeptical or they're Christian or they're God's Messenger but what they say is not necessarily what they are.

Incidentally, the most common misuse of the term "skeptic' that I have seen is among believers. They claim to be "skeptical" of evolution or climate change when really all they're doing is denying reality.

Thank You, that was fun to watch.

Yes, species change over time. God created this ability to enable the survival of species over great spans of time.

Richard Dawkins is an excellent presenter, and was very gracious to the children in his audience.

However, I noticed a few errors in his presentation, in his assumptions, and in his logic.

But I do not expect you to agree with me.

People interpret the very same evidence and even facts differently.

Please share the Scriptures describing Gods creation of evolutionary changes and why he allowed more than 95% of all those species to go extinct as opposed to simply letting them exist all this time?

How can I disagree when you don't provide those so called errors?

Why not let 95% of all species go extinct?

Then, what would that say about Genesis? It sure looks like God created all living creatures as they are today. Do you see anything resembling evolution or extinction? Seems, quite the contrary.

"20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.

24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food"

and so a "Perfect God" not only lies, but makes an incredibly bad mistake. A perfectly inferior God according to the bible. Even Humans can admit a mistake especially of such magnitudes displayed in the bible.

What I find hilarious is that so many Christians have no clue what's in the Bible and then start saying things that clearly are not there or are in stark contrast. Look at the incredibly far-fetched claim from Seti...

"Yes, species change over time. God created this ability to enable the survival of species over great spans of time."

The entire concept and theory of species changing over time is just over 150 years old. If Seti had made that claim about God before then, everyone would have thought he was completely insane. The Church would have ostracized him for blasphemy. Yet, here we are.

I am missing the problem you see.

All of the dogs we have today come from the Wolf. They are all genetically inferior to the Wolf and less able to survive genetically than the original Wolf.

That is a good example of how change in species over time dilutes and corrupts the original genetic code, making it weaker and less able to survive over time.

Evolution over time destroys, since harmful genetic mutations are much more common by far, than beneficial mutations.

The human genetic code is also failing and becoming more corrupted the more time goes by.

Evolution appears to actually work in reverse, until species can no longer function in their environments and eventually go extinct, just as the human race will if given enough time.

Just my radical crazy opinion.

Yes, and an opinion that couldn't be further from the truth.

They are not genetically inferior. For the environment dogs live in, they are much better adapted than wolves.

Dogs are surviving quite well thankyetverymuch. By some estimates there are about a billion of them.

Compare to wolves, of which there are about 200,000.

The flaw in your premise is that you assume there is a such thing as an "ideal form". In fact, the only ideal animal is one that thrives in the environment it inhabits.

And dogs inhabit the human world, where they thrive.
