thank god almighty free at last ...
    almost

    a key issue
there is always a chance the hull has been cracked or bent by the beaching
for all we know it might be filled with micro cracks from the stress which is increasing & after they move it a few kilometers, it cracks and lets in water dropping it to the canal floor, which will probably spike global oil prices by around 5% instantly

while they are big, some angles of force are simply incapable to be sustained for very long.

was the ship built cheaply in a hurry ?
was some of the steel flawed ?
were any of the joins flawed, odd electro-chemical frequency relationships by a a bad mix of paint or steel additives ?
    etc etc

keep giving the fat lady tea n biscuits until it is completely removed from the canal
    dont pop the champagne yet
this might be the warm up act

once it is out then it is out

She will anchor in the Great Bitter Lake for hull inspection. Regardless of what is found, she will not impede the other shipping. There is plenty of space there.
