some states required mail in votes to have arrived by yesterday
some states allowed mail in votes postmarked by yesterday

It seems that those with strong emotional ties to one party or the other will remain uncomfortable for a few more days.

Hs anyone seen odds posted on online gambling platforms?

I think there's a whole lot more a stake here than just emotions.

Only to the fact there are millions of crazy people in the US, but we knew that already, so it's something we have to tolerate.

In terms that those crazy people can relate, they are all being led by Satan.

Or, the flipside to that, is that Jesus was a guy who thought, acted and behaved exactly like Trump.

    Which is it?

It looks like Biden won by the narrowest possible margin!

Wow! Georgia may just go for Biden! As of an hour ago Trump was leading by 13,000 votes - but there are 50,000 votes remaining, and those are mostly the mail-ins, and mail-ins tend to go democratic. In Nevada Biden is leading by 11,000 votes with 51,000 more votes to be counted. In Pennsylvania Trump is ahead by 100,000, with about half a million votes still to count. If Biden wins any of them, he's our next president.

So far Trump has filed over two dozen lawsuits to try to stop vote from being counted in six states. Think he's worried?

From the NT News newspaper today

The lengths of dedication Republicans will go to

Sad and weird why not taken off the role? How many were aware he had died but voted for him anyway? Making that vote a comment on his opponent

This article is from the NT News issue of Friday, 6 Nov

    Dead cert in election

A MAN has been elected to the North Dakota House of Representatives despite dying of COVID-19 earlier this year.

David Andahl, 55, died in early October as the coronavirus swept through his home state.

The rancher won more than 35 per cent of the vote in Tuesday’s US election to secure one of two House seats for North Dakota’s 8th District.

Mr Andahl’s family said: “We are sad that his wish will not come to pass.”

Trump's lead in Georgia down to 1800 votes. And there are still 14,000 votes to count. If those votes mirror the patterns we've seen over the last 12 hours, then that will push Biden into the lead there.

I think Pennsylvania is looking good as well. If Arizona turns out to go for Trump one of those two states (pennsylvania and Georgia) would be needed (in addition to Nevada). N.C. is still out there as well but won't report for another week apparently.

My point being, although it's close and could go either way, it looks very good for something to break for Biden soon and when everything is in by next Friday it's possible it could look even better.

Trump's speech was so full of BS tonight that the major networks (ABC, NBC, and CBS) all broke away after less than a minute.

Biden now leads by 1500 votes in GA. And the remaining votes are from primarily democratic areas.

It is now looking like the final electoral vote tally will be Biden 306, Trump 232.

Biden is now leading by almost 13K (.2%) votes in PA with 98% reported. Trump is going ballistic.

Pres. Trump is winning in the counties with the most cases of COVID-19. According to an AP analysis, 93% of the 376 counties with the highest number of new coronavirus cases per capita voted in favor of Trump. Many of the rural counties in Montana, the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, and Wisconsin are the focal point for the latest surge in cases due, in part, to people not adhering to public safety measures. A recent Stanford study estimated that Trump’s recent rallies, where neither masks nor social distancing were required, contributed to at least 30,000 new infections and 700 deaths.

One important factor appears to be the Sturgis rally (bikers) in South Dakota.
