    A few things:

    1. There were two people who voted for spurious before his name was deleted. That was my fault for not noticing that he had withdrawn his nomination in the nomination thread. It seems Arditezza was one of them.

Arditezza: Please PM me if you want another vote, telling me who you want to vote for. This also applies to the other person who voted for spurious.

    2. A vote for "none of the above" is NOT the same as "I don't want to vote." By voting for "none of the above", you are increasing the chance that nobody will be elected.

    3. sargentlard has said he is withdrawing from the election. To the people who voted for him: sorry, but your votes were wasted.

    4. For people who wish to vote "I don't want to vote", you can now select sargentlard, since the effect will be the same.

Why has sargentlard retreated from the election? As he said he failed four past elections and in he might actually win this one.

    1) (Q), Ilikesalt and the others deserve it more than me.

    2) I am growing more and more out of sciforums.....I would not have had the same dedication as the other nominees, not for this forum....Art&Culture? definetly yes, this one?...not as much.

    3) Every other nominee is more knowledgeble then me....they want it more too.

    4) I have lost so many times now that every time an election comes up I just nominate myself regardless if I wanted to or not.....this time I guess I didn't want to.

    Tristan,
    1. I think it unfair to elect a mod for another moderating position, I think many would also agree
    2. Sorry but your not usually around that much, not like astronomy needs much moderating but still it would be nice toe have a moderator around when trouble does come.

    VOTE FOR ILIKESALT!!!

1.) I dont think its unfair at all. It means that there will be a guaranteed level of knowledge in the moderation. AKA, I know what im doing versus someone who just newly steps into the moderator position.

2.) Who said Im not around that much? I am around quite a bit, but I like reading more specifically then posting. Thats why I dont have a whorde of posts. When I do post, I generally make them count.

3.) I've been here for over 3 years. There's my testament to commitment.

    Later

Why are you running a campaign against tristan?

That is not really a mod thing to do.

  15. You can officially pin a "Vote Tristan '04" pin on my hat.

    Vote for Me!!!

If you look at the amount of hours I spend on this forum, it will be one of the greatest. If I'm elected Mod then I will dedicate a very large portion of my time to the Astronomy forum.

I have been spending more and more time on this forum. I see myself logging on here for years to come.

I would love to have your votes!

I will be a dedicated, fair, common sense moderator. I will also try to encourage good discussion if a topic is going in the wrong direction.
