Q, I wouldn't say they were talking SciFi. I would say they were talking bollocks.
It's really quite funny when two people with no clue about science start arguing with each other over science. Out come the buzzwords, and impressive sounding strings of words, only to create sentences that don't actually mean anything. So quite what they find to argue about amongst it bemuses me.
