how to create a time machine that works

first you will need a perpetual motion machine
then you will need some huemon brave enough to go back into time delivering a message to the creator of the time machine
making him so powerful he probably would walk the streets naked because of complete bordem with nobody to challenge him
life is no fun with out competition

apparently all you have to do to time travel is travel faster than the speed of light, the laws of physics won't allow this though.

A freezer and a guy thousands of years in the future that can thaw you out and revive you, that's a time machine. Only works one way, unfortunately...

I remember being a kid and wondering about time change during air travel, and if flying "backward", or eastbound, so that you crossed the international date line backward a few times could be construde as "going back in time" not literally, but bureaucratically! Imagine, John Doe takes off on the 21st and lands on... the 19th?!

Never fiddled with international date line much, never crossed it, so I'm not sure of the whole trick to it.
