I need to learn at least some calculus before I begin college, and was wondering if there are any good ways to go about doing so via the internet. Can anyone here link me to a good site? Ninja Edit: Found some useful sites on my own but if anybody has a site they personally found to be a big help in understanding/learning calc. Please Post.
I'm not sure about good websites but the 3 unit, yr 11, Cambridge mathematics text book is pretty good last time I checked. You might be able to get an eBook copy of it, although I haven't seen any available.
Are you still in high school? If so just talk to your Calc math teacher about what he can do to help you as well. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
No i graduated last year and have just been working, taking a year off. I never went past euclidean geometry tbh, my diploma didn't require it. But I'd like to learn as much as I could to score higher on entrance exams and not have to take slow math. Don't get me wrong I'm decent at math, just never really understood the importance of 'trying' in high school until i discovered what the benefits of doing well were.
I teach HS Math and I can tell you that you will have a hard time learning The Calculus without a good foundation. To that end, www.purplemath.com is an excellent site with lots of individual lessons covering the basic topics of pre calculus. Good Luck
