You use a '&' character to separate columns:

$A = \begin{bmatrix} a_{11} & a_{12} & a_{13} & a_{14} \\ a_{21} & a_{22} & a_{23} & a_{24} \\ a_{31} & a_{32} & a_{33} & a_{34} \\ a_{41} & a_{42} & a_{43} & a_{44} \\ a_{51} & a_{52} & a_{53} & a_{54} \end{bmatrix}$​

A = \begin{bmatrix}
a_{11} & a_{12} & a_{13} & a_{14} \\
a_{21} & a_{22} & a_{23} & a_{24} \\

You didn't think of writing all your tests in one same thread? Or using an online previewer? Or just installing TeX on your own computer?!

I hypothesize that what willem has been doing is using the back button of his browser in an attempt to edit the same post after viewing it. That's doesn't work.

So:
You type some stuff in the edit window.
You post it.
It looks wrong.
You press the back button which returns to the page with the edit window.
You "continue" editing.
You post again - thinking all you've done is edit just like before.

But that's not what happens.
When you return to the same page, and your text is in the edit window - but it is not editing your existing post - it is in exactly the same state as before, just before you pressed the post button: i.e. about to post a new thread.

And unless he goes out to the New Posts page, he has no way of knowing he's spamming post after post.
