Nine groups are planning protests in town tomorrow, only one promises to cooperate with city and police (Women's March). Charging my video camera and digging out my hard hat. It's gonna be crazy. Chaos is afoot.
Wow. They sound like a lot like the right-wing extremists during Obama's inauguration, only more sane.
Well, they are boarding up the windows downtown in preparation. The last protest resulted in over a million dollars in damages.
The protest went well without any vandalism that I could see. I got some excellent video of the gathering and the march. If there was a problem, it was the disruption of the transit system. I tried to take the max rail home, but ended up having to take a bus. Kudos to the participants for their ability to keep the event from turning ugly. I was planning on recording the Women's March today, but slept in too late and missed it.
