Sibilia, You can't appeal to Newton's gravitational theory to determine the Sun's speed because what you're proposing is an alternative gravitational theory of your own. You must use your own theory (or some existing theory in physics that you're NOT explicitly rejecting) to determine the speed. You can't use a theory you say is wrong to feed data into your new "correct" theory.

What is the acceleration due to gravity on the moon? How does your conjectures explain the orbit of the earth around the sun?
