No, she's been gone for a while, perhaps four or five years. It's been great without her.

The admins sold the website to another group of people. Apparently they don't give a flying fuck about anything that goes on here, as long as they keep making money from the advertising.

As a result, we have no support when we need it. James keeps a rather low profile, and as far as I can tell, Plazma stays in bed.

I can't really complain, since, for reasons I haven't tried to discover, very few people do anything particularly bad on Linguistics or Arts & Culture. I can't remember the last time I had to discipline anyone on my boards, and it's usually commercial spam, rather than an actual member going rogue.

Keep up with the patter on the Moderators' board, and you'll quickly see what we're dealing with, and how.
