What really happened at Pearl Harbour?
Most probably just as we have been told.

The fascinating psychology of people who know the real truth about JFK, UFOs, and 9/11.
Conspiracy believers are the ultimate motivated skeptics. Their curse is that they apply this selective scrutiny not to the left or right, but to the mainstream. They tell themselves that they’re the ones who see the lies, and the rest of us are sheep. But believing that everybody’s lying is just another kind of gullibility.

As I have said before, really, it's a wonder some people are able to get out of bed of a morning with all these conspiracies, past. present and future running our lives.
Let me quote you the proverbs: “The simpleton believes what he is told,, the man of discretion watches how he treads” Proverbs 14”15
What does this mean? Great Solomon knew almost 3000 years ago, that there are men who are gullible and easily deceived and there are men of discretion who are careful with what they accept as true. So, one have to craft his own reality based on what he has investigated and confirmed as true, and not necessarily the government. Especially government statement. Do I think the role of these organizations persists in any of the great existential debates we have nowadays, such as climate change and so forth? I cannot rule that out. What is of course true is that most of the people who work for these organizations have no clue that they are part of most likely a global scam. They are very learned, and very intelligent. But that, is their Achilles Heel. For most of what the institutions of learning teach, is what is decided by the top guys. I used to be a fun of the likes of Arvin Toffler John Naisbitt and Milton Friedman, but over the years, I kind of had a feeling that I am being led the "garden path". So, these days, am I an inveterate skeptic even of what I now support as probably true.
"Climate Change? Population explosion? give me a break! The other day, they were telling us that dinosaur fart changed the climate that brought their extinction. Hm, Does human activity have an effect on nature? absolutely. Can human beings bring climate change that would cause global catastrophe? It depends. But I have been taught by the French to ask before I embrace any claim. Cui Bono?
Dinosaur fart? That sounds very unlikely. So, being sceptical myself, I must ask, do you have a reference for that claim?
"Dinosaurs may be partly to blame for a change in climate because they created so much flatulence,(Yep)! according to leading scientists."
Professor Graeme Ruxton of St Andrews University, Scotland, said the giant animals spent 150 years emitting the potent global warming gas, methane. Giant dinosaurs could have warmed the planet with their flatulence, say researchers. British scientists have calculated the methane output of sauropods, including the species known as Brontosaurus. By scaling up the digestive wind of horses, they estimate that the total population of dinosaurs, produced 520 million tonnes of gas annually. They suggest the gas could have been a key factor in the warm climate 150 million years ago. David Wilkinson from Liverpool John Moore's University, and colleagues from the University of London and the University of Glasgow published their results in the journal Current Biology.

So, there is the "experts Opinion" just in case you thought "Experts" do not lie. They are still selling BigFoot exists, and am just a fiction of your imagination. Next thing they will claim "Marttians" have landed and taken over your government."Repeat a lie many times, (through the "Mainstream Median) and the Sheepals are cooked.
That's what the aliens want you to think. Is Area 51 exactly what conspiracy theorists and UFO true believers have claimed it to be over the years -- a hiding place for UFOs and extraterrestrials?
why cause I'm right? please refrain from the implied attacks on my intelligence. contrary to your misguided asseraton I'm usually on the more rational side.Agreeing with PJ is often a bad move, you know.
Yamamoto studied in the states and had a good feel for the american people. reports state than when he found out the the attack happened before the official deceleration of war that he was very depressed. because he knew the american people would demand vengence. more than anything that screw up there is the biggest failure on of the attack.Actually, PJ is right in this case. Yamamoto is recorded as being against a war with America.
He masterminded the attack in spite of this, however, because he was ordered to do so and, being an honourable man, did so to the best of his ability. History is replete with such men.
The fact that he had reservations regarding the attack on the USA is by no means proof that the Japanese had other options. It merely demonstrates that Yamamoto had reservations that the orders he was given to execute had any long term chance of success.
Given the economic situation facing Japan at the time, it was, in their view, either go to war or sit down, shut up, and do as they were told.
The tendency of humanity, when faced with authority of that nature, is to rebel.

You have no provided evidence of a "lie" here, just something you personally do not believe.
By the way, I declare BINGO! for your first use - to my knowledge - of the giveaway crank term "sheeple", though you have spelled it a bit differently. I have never encountered anyone who uses this terms who is not one.
So, you believe flatulence cause their extinction? That's an original!
PJ, there is a certain point at which an implication becomes an appeal to humour. I didn't think I really left much room for doubt, in this case.why cause I'm right? please refrain from the implied attacks on my intelligence. contrary to your misguided asseraton I'm usually on the more rational side.
Which still doesn't even remotely address the options Japan had at the time.Yamamoto studied in the states and had a good feel for the american people. reports state than when he found out the the attack happened before the official deceleration of war that he was very depressed. because he knew the american people would demand vengence. more than anything that screw up there is the biggest failure on of the attack.
My impression (without actually reading his mind) is that Yamamoto thought the attack was a bad option but it was the only viable option. Decline/collapse of the Empire and its economy, or war? War now or war later? The question: "Did Japan have other options"?
PJ : "Yamamoto didn't like the idea".
... I'm hoping there are at least some who understand where I'm coming from, even if you don't.
i get where you coming from I just don't think matters. yes japan had other options. but unless any of them were concretely better it really doesn't matter. japan struggled for oil in WW2 to operate its war machine. I can't see an option they had that would have allowed them to resolve that issue. not to mention the fact just how strained its supply lines would have been no matter what. Japan in being part of the axis powers really only had bad options.Which still doesn't even remotely address the options Japan had at the time.

Rubbish.
There were American volunteers in every sphere of World War 2 prior to the USA officially entering the war. Entire squadrons of American pilots in Britain and in China alone. You've never heard of the Eagle Squadrons or the Flying Tigers?
In any conflict, if there is one man willing to forego his national ties and join in a conflict his country is not engaged in, there are a thousand others who feel the same way but don't take the extra step. That is as evident in our time as it was 70-odd years ago.
With regard to preparedness, there is little to say other than there is a difference between not being prepared because you hadn't the capability, and being unprepared because you thought, given the circumstances at the time and the general view of the potential enemy, that if any conflict started it would be on American terms, not Japanese. Never disregard arrogance.
ZERO appetite. Really.
Was he really?
My, my. Terrible man, making a profit out of a war you intimate no one cared about enough to get involved in. Other than that... 1%, of course.
I'd surmise you're that guy in the bar who sees a woman being treated badly and stays out of it because it isn't any of your business. But you'll have a few things to say to the guy who films it hoping to make a profit on the internet.
No he was not. This is a ludicrous fabrication. Even if Ford had been inclined the sell arms to Germany either the US government would have prevented it, or the British blockade would have....Meanwhile, all-American patriot hero Henry Ford was busy selling tanks, jeeps and half-tracks to Hitler...
