    Hey guys,

Discuss three reasons why England became Europe's most powerful country by the late 16th century.

I would really appreciate any thoughtful answers from you.

    Thanks

Good leaders, strong support of their people (at least the majority), a well trained military (even though it was smaller than other countries), an excellent navy, and very smart diplomatic manuevering.

Also they came out on top of *most* of the conflicts that they were involved in.

Plus France, Spain, Austria, Russia, and Sweden mostly declined in power. That left England to fill the void.

EDIT: And you SHOULD do your own homework. I just happen to be a history nerd and couldn't pass it up.
