The thread serves as a record for the membership to observe. It is closed to comment; any inquiries or criticism should be directed to the acting authority via Private Message. The administration may, on occasion, override the moderator, but the reverse simply does not happen. If an action is taken by a higher authority, the lower authority cannot directly override that decision.

Closure and Redirect

• "An serious anatomical quesiton (medical science)" — Closed and redirected.

Note: In truth, I admit I'm having some difficulty explaining the problem with this. To the other, I've received multiple missives expressing a certain unease with the discussion, and on this occasion I sympathize. Perhaps if the "serious anatomical question" was a bit more serious, and the "medical science" didn't sound like a whispered camping-trip conversation between two young boys searching for an appearance of maturity, or something like that.

Thread: "Could a Stereotypical Hollywood nerdy guy strangle a person to death with his LEGS..?"

Action: Moved to Free Thoughts.

Note: Such topics do not belong in Human Science. Members who start threads like this one and the gem "By LAW,should Spontaneous Human Combustion be mentioned in all reliable Medicalbooks?" should keep in mind that Human Science involves subjects such as that listed under this forum's heading on the main page, ie. "psychology, cognition, sociology, anthropology, archaeology"..

As interesting as a grandmother catching fire or asking whether a nerd could kill someone using his/her legs are (if you missed the sarcasm, look closely, it is there), such subjects do not belong under the Human Science banner.

Thread: "Could you help debunk Spontaneous Human Combustion,Both classic AND eye-witness cases "

Action: Moved to Pseudoscience.

And again..
