This October is on track to be the coldest October in 95 years, and may set a new all time record.
and, now
for the good news,
The arctic polar vortex may be forming early
or...........................................................?

That is just more of your parochial and deliberate disinformation. The USA is not the world and the US weather is not the global climate. You know that, but still you post this sort of shit.

This is more the sort of thing you should be taking note of: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...ice-not-yet-freezing-at-latest-date-on-record

Good news?
We may yet/soon have a more equable climate?
Yep - in northern Canada and Siberia. Perhaps they will start growing the wheat/soybeans/corn US farmers can no longer grow. We can import all our consumer goods AND all our food! WINNING!

Earth breaks September heat record, may reach warmest year
The first nine months of 2020 are the second warmest on record. There’s a good chance this could end up as the hottest year on record.

Earth sweltered to a record hot September last month, with U.S. climate officials saying there’s nearly a two-to-one chance that 2020 will end up as the globe’s hottest year on record.

Yep. As predicted the dynamic extremes still keep on keepin' on...yet the over all average global temp continues to get hotter...

No.
Meanwhile: My guess is that you can't define what "equable" means as applied to global climate.
2012 still holds the record
Now you are comparing months with years - October 2020 with all of 2012.
This scale business is difficult for you guys - I recall Schmelzer having major difficulties with the concepts of millenia and decades, ecozones and continents, etc.

This is some real progress! You have moved from denying the obvious climate change to just minimizing the effects.
