What is the point of PM's and personal reports if they're liable to be publicised by a... moderator, of all people. Do you want to do away with all confidentiality?
I don't understand your reply I am asking you specifically about mod posting private reports.
You are saying you think its ok for Goofy to post private reports

in doing so we can no longer make private reports, we may as well just post public ones. Which means for those not wishing to make their feelings public, they have no chance to report an abuse of a member or forum rule.
The report feature is there for mods as much as anyone else, what point if no one can use it?
Do you really support the removal of the 'report feature'?

I am as serious about this as just about anything I have posted in this forum. Most discussions relate to opinions and have little or no effect upon our lives. This relates to our position and role within the forum. Frankly, goofy fish's action in this matter is utterly despicable. It is a gross abuse of his power as a moderator. Only his positive contribution to the forum in the past prevented me from requesting the removal of his moderator powers.
I am sickened, literally, by his cavalier behaviour in this matter, and frankly surprised by your apparent approval of this invasion of privacy.

Well, ophiolite, as I explained before nobody gave a shit before when threats were made to take the conflict outside this forum. I that light I can't really give a rat's ass about a report being quoted that has no information in it other than what is quite visible in this forum.
Furthermore the reporter is apparently a sock puppet whose main aim is to elicit a response if I have to believe the latest gossip. A sockpuppet and a troll interacting leading to a chair-dance of banishment.
In short I would have liked to have seen such a strong reaction to matters that really matter. This is rather approaching nothing.
