Green leafy vegetables provide vitamin K1 and K2 that help strengthen bones (one of their lesser known properties). Plus, K2 may help reduce the progress of calcification in arteries and valves. Calcium tends to build-up everywhere when consumed without additional minerals and nutrients that insure it being utilized for bone growth.Hello friends....!What are the benefits of eating lots of Fruit and Vegetables..? I remember see a fish at a gutting station with bluish flesh and navy blue blood. My Dad said it was because it ate a lot of octopus and the ink gradually changed it.
anyone know if this is true? Is there a fish like that?

Flamingos get their color From their diet. They eat foods high in beta carotene, mostly shrimp and algae. They also will eat mollusks (clams or snails) or crustaceans (crabs). They gather their food by gulping water with their beak and then straining the water and eating the leftover food. So, that being said, the color often varies between bird to bird in a flock.
From a web page titled, well...The infants of moms who ate the most fruits and vegetables during pregnancy had babies who were less likely to wheeze or have eczema. They found that women who ate foods rich in vitamin E such as spinach, broccoli, mango, tomato, and spinach were less like to have "wheezy" babies. Women who ate lots of green and yellow fruits and vegetables had another benefit. They reduced their chances of having an infant with eczema.
