Did God answer prayer for healing?

I don't like most Christians who I meet in real life because I think Christians live in some kind of fantasy world where everything in this world is shiny and rosy and perfect and where good Old white-bearded God in the sky always watches over us.

In reality, nothing could be faster from the truth. In the real world, this world is much more cruel, much more sadistic, much more unfair and more brutal to some people that most Christians will ever be willing to admit.

Did God answer prayer for healing?

A Christian cancer patient pray for healing, but God did not heal him and he dies after 1-2 years of radiation therapy, what does this mean?

The pastor told the patient's family that it's God will to heal or not heal, dying is not a tragedy for a saved Christian, his soul is saved, he goes to heaven a better place than the earthly world.

This is a typical answer, anyone also can say that.

How do we really know God's will to heal or not to heal?
Is everything supernatural bull-shit?
As Bruce Lee quoted -

"Do not pray for an easy life, but pray for the strength to endure a difficult one".

Can I throw my opinion here?

In my opinion the world we live in is way too sadistic and cruel for any loving and good-hearted God to have created it and any God who would create the kind of world we live in where many people are in serious pain is a sadistic God who loves to watch humans and animals suffer and be in pain.

If such an evil and sadistic God really exists, a God who loves to see people (and also animals) suffer and struggle then I will say fuck you to this God a million times.

Try some holistic medicine. Say it's for personal use and that it helps with depression. :leaf:B-)

What are you talking about? Holistic medicine is pretty much a pseudoscience you fucking idiot.
You like inflicting pain on people who offer well-meant advice don't you?
You know that if there were a "good" God, He would strike you dead.
Consider yourself lucky.

Sorry for the rude part. Please let me apologize. I'm just going through a very hard time right now so please understand.

I'm merely wanted to point out that holistic medicine isn't real medicine unlike emerging branches of medicine like regenerative medicine, nanomedicine, genomic medicine, precision medicine, laser medicine and some other branches of real medicine which I can't really pinpoint out right now.

I understand what you are saying but when you use terms like "real medicine", I should like to qualify that real Natural Medicine has been around for thousands of years and about 70 % of all modern medicine is based on natural chemistry. Have some respect for the "elders". They laid the foundation for modern medicine.

70% of new drugs come from Mother Nature
Around 70 percent of all new drugs introduced in the United States in the past 25 years have been derived from natural products, reports a study published in the March 23 issue of the Journal of Natural Products. The findings show that despite increasingly sophisticated techniques to design medications in the lab, Mother Nature is still the best drug designer.

Which is entirely reasonable because natural evolution of species would include the use of natural medicines that proved to be beneficial to both animals and humans.

The Traditional Medicine and Modern Medicine from Natural Products

1. Introduction

Since prehistoric times, humans have used natural products, such as plants, animals, microorganisms, and marine organisms, in medicines to alleviate and treat diseases. According to fossil records, the human use of plants as medicines may be traced back at least 60,000 years [1,2]. The use of natural products as medicines must, of course, have presented a tremendous challenge to early humans.
It is highly probable that when seeking food, early humans often consumed poisonous plants, which led to vomiting, diarrhea, coma, or other toxic reactions—perhaps even death. However, in this way, early humans were able to develop knowledge about edible materials and natural medicines [3]. Subsequently, humans invented fire, learned how to make alcohol, developed religions, and made technological breakthroughs, and they learned how to develop new drugs.

It is well known that "medicine men" studied natural medicine as diligently as modern medical students. They would usually start at a very early age as apprentices and spent 15 - 20 years studying the hundreds of natural medicines, their properties and judicious use of blends and extracts from available medicinal plants in the fields and forests. Then when the old medicine man was too old to continue, the "well-schooled" apprentice would take over his practice.

Do not underestimate indigenous peoples' knowledge of their native botany, acquired over thousands of years of study by trial and error (human selection).
Tribal medicine men enjoyed as much respect as modern-day doctors do, and rightly so.

God never answered prayers for healing. Animals and Humans figured it out all by themselves.

I know there is no God or anything and that's because too many people are dying every day and many people also end up killing themselves because they are in too much trouble or they are in too much pain that they cannot longer endure the pain anymore, whether their pain is physical, mental or emotional it doesn't matter.

This world is way too sadistic and evil for there to be a loving and all-capable God in my opinion. For starters, people will not get seriously sick or face a serious physical disability in life or even a serious injury if there was a loving God, a God who really values human life and human happiness and well-being.
