first the dems will reduce the tax burden on the lower and middleclass which will boost spending. no they will create a system that will make sure everyone has health insurance...a fool fears nothing.

The lower and middle don't pay any taxes as it is. We pay most of the taxes. You just use up all the services. Spending is already way up. Free healthcare will be a disaster just like it is in Canada etc. Ugh. I still have no fear. Fear is for cowards. :(

Fear of death, fear of extreme bodily harm, etc.

Why fear of death? When you know where you're going, you welcome death. :)

"... The massive account deficit.....

I prefer to be well informed by the facts. That way I can protect myself, and ones I love, better. I.e. By moving to a growing economy with appreciating currency and having converted dollars into its currency several years ago*, I have good reason to state: I am not afraid, but optimistic.

Hell, I just play around in the stock market as a game and to learn about the amazing advances that are being developed by the 40 early-stage drug companies I own. If I lose it all, it is not important to me now. I can easily live on the bank interest I get from my Brazilian bank applications. (Brazil had the highest real interest rates, double digit, until recent problems in Turkey dropped Brazil to second place in the world.) I foresaw all that is now fact long ago and acted to protect myself. I told others here how to (buy ADRs in India & Brazil) at least 3 years ago. Those that took my advice how have at least 400% profit in dollars.

Summary: I am both a "realist" and an "optimist," at least for me and mine, if not for the USA which GWB has destroyed, beyond repair by doubling the debt, screwing the true productive of the USA (factories closing, jobs being out sourced so the companies are more profitable etc.).
-----------------------
*I got slightly more than 4 Real for each dollar (The grey market rate is higher still than the comercial rate and doing business in it has no risk. - "Cambios" operate openly in same location for decades, advertise in news papers, etc.) Now a dollar will buy on 1.74 Real.

W prevented another 911. Nothing else matters.
How did he do that? - By invading the country that sent none of the 9/11 attackers, did not finance them, did not train them in "religious" schools, did not even allow them on its territory, instead of the country that did do all that for 15 of the 19 who flew planes into US buildings?

GWB flew two plane loads of Saudis out of US while US air space was closed immediately after 9/11. The safety and security of the Saudi Royal family (and their business friends in the US), which has funded him and his father political campaigns for about two decades, is placed above the safety and security of the USA by GWB. - Get your facts straight.

I would be afraid if someone with a gun threatened to kill me, I would not be screaming or doing anything irrational but I would be terrified.
