Austin, imo, is one of the better cities in Texas. San Antonio is right up there with it, along with Corpus Christi.

It can be. Just depends. So many factors. Down here, at least in West Texas where there are a lot of farmers, it is common for people to wave at each other as they pass each other on the roads in their pick-ups (Ford, Chevy or Dodge, it's a bit of a rivalry type thing). Hee Hee. Most people are nice, imo.

Yeah the waving thing right! I was at my aunts place in Georgia, a small county called Athens, people have this habbit(the one who drives the car) of waving at people who they pass by, pedestrians especially. and you would hear a Hi from a nice looking girl who doesnt even know you! For some reason though, I liked NY a lot. Especially NYC. Once I got used to the new rules, it was quite, I don't know, exhilarating. Hated college too, so maybe that made getting away into the city or the surrounding country seem better than it actually was though. I was young and naive too.
I drove home one break though, during my senior year, when we were allowed to have cars. I had New York plates on my car. So! I get home, and people treat me like shit. People I don't know of course. People tell me to go back to New York. I give them the finger and get pissed off, feeling offended. So, everything is relative. Every situation is different.
I still have fond memories of New York though. I learned how to ride English saddle there, as opposed to western saddle here. I loved riding through the woods there in the Autumn when all the leaves were changing and seeing a deer through the woods and chasing it. Or trying to. They were fast. Loved the country, the winding roads, the old stone fences that separated fields. The green hills. The brisk winter nights. Etc. Etc. Some very good memories.

I'll tell you. If you have never been to Montreal, up in Canada, you should get there post-haste. I can't remember ever seeing more beautiful, refined, elegant women in my life, except maybe Paris. Montreal, when I was there, was almost like being in another world. Everything was clean and beautiful. The women just made it seem ethereal. Mmmmmmm!!!!

Never been to Canada. Was in switzerland couple of years back (with my parents , spoiled the whole nice aspect of it )... Girls were real darlings, except they couldnt speak much of english, French mostly...(German sometime...)...kinda cute though...
Is Niagra falls enough to catch a glimpse,from the canadian side i mean?... we were planning on that...have a get Visa first, its like 150 dollars or something...dont know really...
