15 May is bike-to-work (bicycle) day in the US. I am definitely riding my bike in. It's well worth the time and effort. Let's make this a day to remember by breaking all records.
I bike every day to work..
..and back.
I thought you use the car...:bugeye:
That is not a problem. I live 20.4 miles away. I have waterless soap and shampoo. I keep the change of clothes in my office. When I get here, I wash up with the waterless soap and shampoo, put on some deodorant, change clothes, and I am ready for the day.
I would love to bike to/from work on a daily basis.
The only thing stopping me is the fact that I can't take showers at office. I live 7-8 miles away (rough estimate...it may be more) so it would require serious peddling.
I bike....everywhere (even though I have a car), but I have found it to save me loads of money.
I'm tired of these gimmicks. What's one "bike-to-work day" going to accomplish? It's simply a small variation of one component of our lifestyle lasting the time length of a day. Big whoop.
For the next three hundred and sixty four days, everybody will be back to driving their gas-guzzlin' SUVs to work.
And it is awesome for your health and far less pollution.
not me - I sold my car and only bike now.I'm tired of these gimmicks. What's one "bike-to-work day" going to accomplish? It's simply a small variation of one component of our lifestyle lasting the time length of a day. Big whoop.
