I see that many references lead to:

How similar Zombieland is? Because Shaun is the ultimate zombie comedy.

Also, if you like this type of movies, don't miss this Norwegian flick:

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Peter Jackson's "Bad taste" or "Braindead", as well of course "Evil Dead". All such films take the horror Comedy undead genre to extremes.

This Thread is certainly a litmus test for Woody Harrelson opinions...

Are you sure? I'm generally not a Woody Harrelson fan, but I admit that he's made a couple of movies that I enjoy (Zombieland being one of them).

I'll pretend that I haven't read this. :bugeye:

I honestly wasn't that impressed by Shaun Of The Dead. There were a couple of parts that I found funny, but most of it was just "meh" to me. I freely admit, though, that British humor generally isn't my thing.

There is no accounting for taste, or by that the absence of it.

My son LOVES zombie movies. I'm gonna put dead snow on our Netflix list. Thanks Plazma!

I've never seen Dead Snow, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. I need to check it out, too, but my wife cancelled our Netflix because we didn't use it very often (we have DirecTV with movie channels, though). Please let me know what you/your son think of it.

Ok, I'll try and remember. Apparently its not on DVD yet, so it may be a while. It says its campy violent, so I'm gonna guess its like Shawn of the Dead and Zombieland

Plazma, is it funny?

I thought it was good, especially Bill Murray, but there was a striking scientific flaw. If the bite of a zombie causes you to turn into a zombie, then the blood is probably also infectious, and yet when you shoot or fight them, blood splatters into the air. So, anyone who shoots one at close range or cuts them will probably get infected too. They should have been wearing hazmat suits in order to fight them. Also, is it that hard to find a secure building or location where the zombies aren't there?

LOL, that's the scientific flaw?
I think the fact that there were zombies would be the scientific flaw. ;)

No, I can imagine that there is a virus or something that causes zombification. I don't think they would live very long, though. Why wouldn't they eat each other?
