When you reach the age of reason, will you reject supernatural religion?

Or will you seek a moral religion to replace the immoral one you now follow, if you happen to be Christian or Muslim?

Or will you let your faith hide the truth of the immorality of your God?

Im in charge of what i thank is moral... an i have no plans of acceptin any religious notions of morality whether Christan or Muslim that i thank is immoral.!!!

Very good idea. As you say, all we get from him is silly flamebait threads, attacking various aspects of Christianity in a puerile and superficial way. It's a bore and an irritant but not really a pretext for any rational discussion.

I see those religions that are not idol worshiping cults like Christianity and Islam and which seek/preach knowledge and wisdom as more moral than those named.

Gnostic Christianity and Buddhism seem to be the best.

You are correct that Christians do not know how to worship. They worship with lying tonges instead of good deeds.

That aside.

Walk into any Christian establishment. What do you see if not a cross that is idolized and used to create a false sense of debt to a guy that likely never existed. Those craven images and the guy they represent are idol worshiped.

God is a title and once you name a God, you are an idol worshiper of the mental image you have created of your idolized God.

Easy - what do you do with folks who are too dangerous to be let back into society (serial killers, child rapists, etc) - "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" would seem to indicate you should give them a pass and let them free... which then puts others at risk once again.

No real winning scenario there.

What we do is considered evil by the corrupted institutions and people we talk about.

We are considered quite good though by the, in this case, women and gays that are victimized by the corrupted religions that oppress them without a just cause.

Are you all in on that or do you stand with the corrupted ones?

Let me ignore child rapist here as I do not want to point to Christianity and the fact that they protect their pedophile priests and preachers. That is a whole other discussion.

As to killers.

If I was to do unto others, and give them the protection I want from killers, I would remove them from society in the most humane way possible. A victims response to a killer is to try to not be killed and they will use violence and death if required. I would remove the killer from that potentially lethal situation of his own inadvertent or insane causing.

Do you approve and recognize that that is a good way to apply the Golden Rule to all involved?

The same formula could be applied to all types of dangerous criminal, even those bastard pedophile priests.

1) it is not the "preferred ideology" - it is the ideology of those that would try to use it as a weapon against their fellow man (and will get their comeuppance when they face judgement)

2) You can insert any religion in place of Christianity, and the same would hold true... you can put virtually ANY institution of rules in its place and it would still hold true.

So in order to "adapt" the Golden Rule, you need to apply a double standard to it (in this case, you deem killing them in a humane way as sufficiently close to not wishing yourself to be killed).

An interesting scapegoat, but a scapegoat none the less.
