Did God answer prayer for healing?

If Karma exists then how do you explain the fact that high school bullies live very happy lives and make tons of money while those who were bullied and taken advantage of suffer misery, homelessness and hardships in life?
I've found it's pretty much the opposite. I went to college with a bunch of other people who tended to be bullied and mocked. And now my classmates are running companies, doing research, getting awards (one just won a Nobel prize) and retiring early. Those high school bullies? Never heard from them again. Well, not quite true. One guy is a fireman, the other guy basically lives on disability checks.

No God probably doesn't even exist but that's another topic entirely.

Yes God doesen't exist.
Existence is weak, there must be some other concept for "His being".

I think that Karma doesn't exist either because otherwise how do you explain that bad things always happen to good people and that good things almost always happen to people who do bad things to others.

If Karma exists then how do you explain the fact that high school bullies live very happy lives and make tons of money while those who were bullied and taken advantage of suffer misery, homelessness and hardships in life?

Explaination is straight forward.
You live in hell.

In fact I think this universe is so evil is that it deserves not to exist at all in the first place. ThisUniverse doesn't deserve to have people, animals and plant life in it. Instead what it deserves is just the elements with no life being here at all.

Actualy, the ruler of this world is Satan.

Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

I know which of those two things I'd rather be doing. :)

Me to.!!!
I have spent many minutes readin the Bible.!!!
I even have a bible that i won for perfect sunday school attendance... an the cover has yellowed due to age but the pages are still in ment condition :p

The idea of a God that cares about humans and answers their prayers is an anthropomorphism. Humans always like to anthropomorphize everything.

First of all God doesn't exist and definitely not in the way humans imagine him to be.

Secondly even if some kind of God existed then he wouldn't and shouldn't give a damn about an arrogant species like humans and in a vast universe like this one why would a deity even think about us in such a big universe?

I don't believe in life after death either.

I think that death is the end of everything for the person who has died. Everything we continue to learn about the nature of the universe from genetics to cell biology and to biochemistry to entropy and quantum physics seems to suggest more and more that the afterlife can be ruled out.

Doctor Sean Caroll also said that life beyond death is impossible. Check out this link:

There is NO life after death: Scientist insists afterlife is IMPOSSIBLE | Science | News | Express.co.uk

my god exists and is punishing you for your misguided thinking and values by denying you hot girls to have sex with

this is gods work

science rarely insists on anything

life after death is an oxymoron in scientific terms
so the mathematical value of the statement is correct regardless of the outcome
and there you are going on about
anthropomorphism

if the consciousness continues to live, then life continues

you cant debate god without 1st defining what god is

...
uh huh
thats a HUGE claim your making there
you are effectively saying that science will never uncover anything it doesn't already know

Not necessarily. It depends on your interpretation of afterlife existence. Thermodynamic law predict conservation of energy. After conscious life we may continue but not as conscious organisms.

you are falling into the same trap

if life continues
if life ends

which one is it ?

is it a new life starting ?

the majority of humans are indoctrinated through religion and culture to think in trapped ways

Organic Life as we normally define it.
is it a new life starting ?
Not necessarily. Your cells may disintegrate and become food for a rose bush. But that only makes you part of a rose bush and will provide energy, but that does not make you the rose bush
the majority of humans are indoctrinated through religion and culture to think in trapped ways
Maybe so, but science tells us that apart from enthropy systems and patternsundergo constant change from one state into another. Bur AFAIK there is no law demanding that change from a living state must result into another living state. Biological molecules disintegrate and dissolve into simpler compounds or patterns all the time .

Let' s not forget that some 90% of the human biome consists of bacteria, which actually protect us from the environment and are essential in homeostasis.

Complex Life appears to be a compound pattern of many individual parts. Which supports the notion that Life, like Consciousness is an emergent property of specific compound patterns.

Yes but Jesus never resurrected. His bones are still there in the grave where he died.

It makes no sense to me if there is a omnicapable and omni-loving God that kids die of cancer and other debilitating diseases.

Looks like God is very evil if he is omni-capable and allows these things to happen to people.

Lee Thompson Young died of suicide when he was only 29 years old so if God allows people to kill themselves at such a young age when all their life is still ahead of them then this God is evil period or maybe HE/SHE doesn't even exist in the first place end of story.

Hmm. In 2015, toddler Gardell Martin died after falling in a freezing creek. He was dead for almost 2 hours - no heartbeat, no brainwaves, no anything. Then a team of doctors, led by Dr. Frank Maffei, resurrected him. Does that mean that God exists, and that Dr. Maffei is that God?

Religion is based on lies on top of lies and delusion and this is why I think religion is at the root of all the evil and delusion in this world.

If religion did not exist then people could finally come to see this world, the universe and humanity for what it truly is and people will finally seek to know the truth without religion which is delusion and dishonesty.

This is why I tend to dislike people who claim to know that there is a God and that there's an afterlife waiting to us only if we do good things in life when obviously there is nothing: there's no God and there's also no afterlife.

Religious people are just not honest people and this is what I can't stand about those people.

Question; Is Suspended animation, where the living pattern becomes frozen "in time" the same as Death where the living pattern actually begins to break down into non-living component parts?

How Long Do Tardigrades Live? | Live Science
"So long as the tardigrade can get into the tun, it will cope with anything that you throw at it," McInnes told Live Science. One of God's favorite creatures.
McInnes once defrosted a moss sample from a former experiment and found it contained live tardigrades. She deduced that the organisms had survived, frozen, for at least eight years. In 2016, a paper published in the journal Cryobiology made waves when it showed that a handful of tardigrades, frozen in another Antarctic moss sample back in 1983, had survived in this frigid state for 30 years until they were revived in 2014.
It's thought that the tardigrade's talent for self-preservation comes down, in part, to its production of unique proteins that can lock fragile cell components into position. That protects the membranes, proteins and DNA from being shattered, pierced and torn when cells become desiccated, according to a 2017 study in the journal Molecular Cell.

There is one set of chemical reactions that happens while an organism is alive and another set of chemical reactions that takes over after the organism dies. There is no exact "moment" of death - and the time can be further blurred by cold temperatures, etc., so the"process of death" can sometimes be reversed if the second set of reactions has not yet taken hold.

the gods appear to be unhappy with india peoples voting in the recent election
and now they are punishing them

i suspect, given god made climate change
that this hurricane will be the first of a few slightly larger more regular larger hurricanes in such semi tropical locations around the earth

God seems to be quite busy
A.I.D's
Rwanda genocide
9/11 attack
Malaria
Dengue fever
Ebola
Zika
Bird Flu
Pig Flu
African swine flu
Nile River Virus
hepatitis
Cancer
heart attacks
aspergers
autism
downs syndrome
birth defects
SAR'S CoV-2
Climate change

God is soo busy im surprised god has any time to listen to anyone's prayers

if anyone is 100% sure they have gods ear
could they please ask god to go on a holiday for a few decades to see if we can save the human species & the planet
it would be most appreciated

theory question
assuming the advancement of science was capable
i assume the brain would need some type of IV line to feed it basic nutrients to keep it alive ?
where do those waste nutrients go in normal life ?

urine & poop & sweating ?
so the person would need to have some type of waste pipe or urinary function and pooping in stasis capability ?

im guessing it would be easier to keep them in a tank of liquid with their bums pumped up with liquid up their bums to keep their stomachs in an operational manner to prevent the stomach intestine walls from sticking together and shrinking too much etc

and maintain skin elasticity of their bums so they didn't split their bum holes the moment they woke up and did a poop

i guess they would have nano bot robots by that stage
that are like a robot snake
that crawl up their bums and then open out like a stent to keep their bums & intestines stomach & esophagus open to a certain size

AI Robot bum snakes
you would need AI Robot whackachanga snakes for women to climb up their you know where to keep their uterus and ovaries operating

that would be a whole new level of technology
probably be several levels of complicated above keeping lungs alive
would make AI Robot bum snakes look simple.

how would you keep the lungs open without smashing all the tiny hairs etc ?
separate pressure
but then you would destroy the skin on the pressure seal point unless you had super good
skin grafting technology and could simply re-grow skin to make a new grafting seal

AI Robot bum snake future ....

Right, as Tegmark posits: It is not the particles that are alive or dead, it is the pattern in which they are arranged!

His popular remark; "A living organism is food, rearranged" . There is no elan vital, only patterns arranged in a dynamic configuration defined as being alive, or food which apart from dynamical growth, is inanimate biology.

Life is an emergent property of a specific particle arrangement. That is pure physics.

All living things have all the required particles arranged in dynamic state which we have symbolized as "Life". All non-living things have particles arranged in a static state which we have symbolized as "Non-life".

"occlusive consciousness"
i neither agree nor disagree

collective consciousness seems to be an odd thing to sit beside it on a table & look for differences between each

hold still for a moment while i test something
