UFOs (UAPs): Explanations?

He had a history of substance abuse and addictions so he may have not been mentally well, and could have been delusional.

Wow..he really sounds like a terrible person! lol So not only is he a devious liar, but he's an addict and mentally ill and delusional and a media hound as well. All speculative accusations just to dismiss his ufo sighting. No wonder he regretted coming forward about the encounter.

Didn't he actually go inside the UFO briefly?

Ideal moment to pick up any loose item laying around

Wonder why he didn't?

:)

Lol! His substance abuse history is mentioned in quite a few articles. The likelihood of a different story being the truth over a UFO landing where only one man saw it, got injured and then it flew off is probably the case.

I’m pretty open minded but this scenario just seems suspicious, too many plot holes. They should make it a Netflix series. There might be details unknown to the public…

Michalak did say that he didn’t think it was a space alien vehicle, but a military type craft. He mentioned that he heard human voices.

Dies anyone here believe that the government in either Canada or the US is hiding advanced technology from the general public? I don’t know to be honest, but wondering what you think?

Unfortunately it wasn't advanced technology. It was two pie plates stuck together. Not aerodynamic in the least. Powered by a grid? :)

This is another case of a ufo sighting so obvious and unmistakeable the guy is either lying or telling the truth. There is no mistake here, and there is no question of insanity. And the large circles left in the grassy field are trace evidence of their hovering. So you have to decide for yourself. Is this completely credible farmer from Saskatchewan Canada telling the truth, or is he a pathological liar? I think the answer is obvious.

"I prefer not to tell people whether or not I believe Fuhr. Part of what makes his story so enjoyable is deciding on that for yourself. The uncertainty is what makes it so intriguing. There is no concrete proof of UFOs landing in that field, just the account of a friendly farmer who did not have a reputation for making up stories.

The lack of hard evidence, but compelling account from a likeable person makes Fuhr’s sighting the quintessential UFO story. UFO enthusiasts want to believe him, and skeptics are incensed that Fuhr still won’t concede what he saw.

I guess that old X-Files slogan applies here too: The truth is out there."

"Investigators still have not produced a single logical explanation"... and that's where we come in:)

Never underestimate the power of a credible firsthand account..:)

Here's an interview with farmer Edwin Fuhr about his ufo encounter back in 1974:
