Updates

Of course living at home with parents means I'll never get laid but what can you do huh? I

Get a hotel room for a night or weekend for you and that lucky lady your going to have with you.

Most women these days can earn enough to support themselves, but they don't want to take on a fellow who is a financial sink hole.

Ah, but conversely the women who don't earn anything want a man to keep them with what they want and need and they to are "financial sinkholes" as you mentioned as well.

My advice to youth....do not encumber yourself with debt that cannot act as it's own capital. Avoid debt at all, if possible. For most commodities, I suggest saving for it. You may change your mind about really wanting that item, and most technology keeps getting cheaper over time. Intelligent spending will save you a bundle.

Yeah, you have to save BEFORE you spend.

I was wondering do you guys think Human Resources would be good to go back to college for? I was thinking I'd rather do the hiring and firing than be the one under scrutiny by HR.

HR generally requires a bachelor's-social science major.

And you need to be really socially astute.

What are your strengths?

Obviously, we northern women are a different breed then. :D

Yukon Women

It's a dusty, dirty town to be living in
It's a dirty, driving, dusty wind that blows
It's a dirty, lousy shame this place ain't got no name
It ain't heaven, it ain't hell, but ain't it home.

I ain't seen any green since last November
Ain't tooken off my boots since last July
I ain't been messin' up my mind more than half the time
But honey, don't you bet I didn't try.

'Cause I'm one of those
Rough, loose, raw and rugged, Yukon women are we
We wear plaid jackets and we build our own cabins
And we all vote NDP--independently.

Yeah, we're in top condition and we go on long hikes
And we aren't afraid of bears
We wear woolly socks, woolly shirts, woolly woollies
'Til it gets kinda itchy under there
And we go in the sauna with no clothes on
And if the boys look we don't care
We've got liberated views on who's lovin' whose
And we don't shave our armpit hair.

Yeah, we're rough, loose, raw and rugged Yukon women are we
We wear plaid jackets and we build our own cabins
And we all drink rosehip tea--independently.
Yeah, we're rough, loose, raw and rugged Yukon women are we!

Don't take offense, cosmic's opinion on women comes from a very bitter and damaged perspective.

Lesson: marry a woman who likes to have a job.

I did I also gave her the opportunity to attend college, which I helped pay for, she got ahead at her job and became a supervisor. I never held her back from accomplishing anything that she wanted to do. Never disliked her friends but I should have seen what they were telling her back then but I was to lovestruck.

Cute. But I do enjoy a woman who smells better than I do and don't enjoy combing through armpit hairs.:D

No, just leary of giving and not receiving much in return except betrayal from someone I use to love. Love is truly blind and I can attest for that.

No offense intended to cosmictraveler, but here is an example. I'm sure he won't mind helping other people avoid mistakes.

THIS is why you NEVER give too much. Also don't give what girls SAY they want give them what they REALLY want. Never give something because you feel obligated to, but you feel you want to.

If you won't be offended by it, please highlight the below, I wrote it in white.

It is called being a kiss ass, it never works.

Though luck mate, hope you have better luck in the future :(

That is good advice . 2 incomes are better than one in this modern times of not enough money . Work together to build security . A common goal that will bring you closer together . You and her against the world

What advice? That love is blind? That giving and not receiving is wrong? Just what do you mean by your comment?

You are blind. You are the one that got burned, not everyone does. Not everyone is out to burn people they are with or care about.

Change your handle to burntoutchickenshit. You don't even think people should be in space you are so scared of everything.

So now you stoop to calling me names,
Change your handle to burntoutchickenshit
, can't you ever rise above your childish ways? Start learning to become more educated about dealing with your emotional problems than by venting your frustrations by name calling..

While it is a fact, which is why I'm even talking about it, that life does have many problems, I'd like others to realize this fact to remember to always be cautious when getting involved with someone else and allowing them into your person life. By sharing some of the down sides to being in love I thought it would be more helpful than, what seems to you, harmful. I don't know why you are so disturbed to hear the truth but I'm surely not ever going to stop talking about it.

I've been a proponent of space exploration even writing some ideas to NASA from time to time ever since 1964. I never said that exploring space was wrong and since you accuse me of being "scared" of putting people into space, then show me where I've stated that. I have voiced my opinions that humans shouldn't go into deep space without first being safe. Radiation has not yet been shielded enough to protect humans from long exposures to it. I'd think that is a smart thing to resolve before we send humans to Mars, don't you?
