I am confused about what you are saying...The problem this behaviour creates is not able to be measured but I have no doubt it will be a long time before the 11000 scientists lie goes away.
Anyways I don't care. I don't care which side the originators are really on...it is just another thing to muddy the waters.
What is encouraging is the number of countries actually trying to act responsibly.
We can only wait and hope USA joins in but until then it would seem a case of a lot of folk bailing the boat whilst one passenger explores better ways of drilling holes in the boat....no doubt to let the water out if you ask them.

Claiming hypocrisy doesn't change anything...
You live in NSW yes?
6,000,000 people are on high alert due to unprecedented catastrophic fire conditions right now... 10 am 12/11/2019
That is nearly 25% of Australia's population sitting at home or going to work not knowing what the hell is happening to their life style or even if they have a home to go back to.
They have been warned for years that the threat of fire storms has been increasing every year and now we have a big day ahead of us...but no, they may sit back and claim that because some one is acting hypocritically he is telling lies about climate change...instead of doing their own research and looking after their own interests they seek to blame someone else for their confusion and watch their lifestyle go up in smoke because of.....their desire to excuse their denial.
Do you think next year is going to get any better?
Does any one think next year is going to get better?
Certainly 11000 scientist think it wont and are prepared to at least state it is a such. ( even if they do it from their 1st class air ticket seat on an A340 Oxygen guzzling, CO2 producing jet liner flying to yet another AGW conference)
