'Lucifer' means 'light'.
Yep.
(Heb 13:2)
I've lost count of the number of times I've entertained a stranger (coffee, wine, cakes, that sort of thing) only to find out a week later they were actually stars.
Mind you you I should have guessed. The scorch marks on the sofa was big clue.
Yes. I've considered the possibility that is not real. But there has to be theologian out there that maybe can shed some light on it.
I dunno, would the bible count as a source for you?
Luke 20:36. Angels can't die.
So angels have souls? And they sin? Okay.Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die…
So what. Could god not have created them as undying?Praise God, all His angels ... Let them praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created. (Ps 148.2a, 148.5)
So what. Could god not have created them as undying?
All you've done here is managed to show that the bible contradicts itself..
Uhm forgive my ignorance, but aren't angels already in heaven?
If you could die in heaven, where would you go to then?
And if they are not in heaven where do they reside?
Okay.He did, but the choice is theirs, and ours.
angels have no choice but to obey
Step 1: My quote, which was from the bible, says they don't die.How so?
Okay.
But it's not what NMSquirrel said:
Step 1: My quote, which was from the bible, says they don't die.
Step 2: Your claim, also based on the bible, is that they do.
Step 3: That is a contradiction.
Step 4: This contradiction is in the bible.
Conclusion: the bible contradicts itself.
Got it yet?
The angels don't fight god or other angels they do as they are told those are lies from the bible.
Peace
Please explain how you equate "angels have no choice but to obey" with having free will. There's nothing wrong with that, as that's how they are created, but like all creatures, they have a free will.
No?Your quote from the bible says no such thing
Equal unto the angels - Who neither marry nor die.
Etc. etc etc.they can't die any more, for they are like the angels
Wrong. That's what it explicitly says.that is how you have interpreted it
Correction: this is an example of your outlook. You consider that YOU are right, even to the extent of denying (without giving any support for your denial) anything (including the bible) that disagrees with your interpretation. This is a snipet into your whole attitude regarding God, and scripture.
