Yes it is entirely possible that there is a doctor out there with double books who is supplying criminals with equipment, medication and service under the table - maybe he even has a paypal account since that facilitates purchases on ebay. And a bank account linked to it. Maybe the Germans and Japanese manufacturers are willing to send equipment through illegal channels and the Chinese are supplying free catheters to aid Osama in his aim to bring down the American economy. Anything is possible.

Thanks for the timeline. If OBL was dead, then Bush's loss of interest makes sense, but why wouldn't he claim the credit for it? Why pretend he was still there? That makes no sense.

Why would you find that entirely possible when your own link has Musharraf, your source, as saying he came into the country with two dialysis machines of his own? It wasn't a secret your link has Musharraf saying so himself. Is it you believe Musharraf was lying? Also Musharraf seems to believe that OBL died Monday and not in 2002 when he would have been in power and would have surely been in the know if he had been killed. He was in power in 2002. If Sam wants to use Bhutto's interview as evidence then she will have to concede that Musharraf was the man of the hour and for some reason he too believes OBL died this past Monday. Maybe he's not as smart as Sam and cannot tie together all those pieces that were under his nose like how absolutely difficult it is to bring dialysis machines into Pakistan when he himself seemed to know that OBL had two of his own which he brought into Afghanistan, as if Afghanistan is somehow so so much more sophisticated than Pakistan you can drag one around there with no worries but its almost impossible for a millionaire to do the same in Pakistan because as we know they have tariffs on things like that, not sure how they smuggle guns and arms over their porous border but they are really strict about those dialysis machines. And David Frost too, he's just suffering from dementia which is why he cannot remember that OBL died in 2002.

The world only recognized ONE death of OBL, the rest were rumors and murmurings and things that disappeared into the periphery of net info deemed to spurious to be considered newsworthy, yet the only deaths that Sam or Eso or Chi are willing to acknowledge are one of the unverifiable rumors that didn't even make it to the front page or wasn't discussed by any government at all? Really? Seriously? Musharraf can criticize the US for breaking pakistani air space to kill OBL but you would have it that Musharraf knew Bin Laden was dead years ago? Many, most, people live their lives believing all sorts of fantasies. Hero myths, religious myths, number superstitions, and yes, conspiracy theories. Somehow it helps them deal with life thinking that the number 8 is going to protect them and give them 'Luck' (or God, or whatever), whatever it is, they have the inside scoop.

People can't stand to think some plain-jane like Bin Laden cause so much utter destruction - so they make up a world where the CIA orchestrated 9/11. Dealing with the knowledge there's that much uncertainty in the world is just too much for many people.

I am not sure what the Tea Party is all about. I know they claim to be fiscal hawks. But these are the same people that slept through "deficits don't matter Cheney" and were perfectly content as Republicans who controlled government for the first 8 years of the last decade, more than doubled the national debt; added trillions to the defiicits; and ran the economy into the ground.

This victory will make it more difficult for the right wing, including Tea Partiers, to paint Obama as a non American as they have tried to do these last few years. I expect that Obama will now surge in the popularity polls and I think that will make Republicans think twice about attacking him as they have been since he was elected. He has done something they have not been able to do, kill Bin Ladin.

Not everyone on the right hushed up about Bush's massive spending. Were all the people on the left who were whining about Bush's increasing the size and power of government hushing up when Obama is doing the same?

And Obama will certainly see a rise in poll numbers. For now. Both Bushes were flying high in the polls for a while (the first Bush after the first Gulf War, the second Bush after the 9/11 attacks). Those numbers will inevitably fall.

They have pictures, and tissue/blood for dna. Now there is no dispute over who gets the body, no burial ground for a shrine, no court injunction over who gets the body.

Of course, there remains a chance the body is not buried and is still in possession.

No country would have wanted his body to be buried on their soil as it could potentially become a shrine to extremists. The Saudis, it seems, refused to take his body back for burial. And one could possibly understand why they did refuse to take his body back:

Proof Osama was killed:

1. The President watched it on assassin-cam
2. Some guys took DNA and compared it with family members(maybe they just killed another family member?). We take their word for it - it was a match - matched in less than 24 hours mind. Less than 24 hours minus the helicopter ride from Pakistan to Afghanistan to the Ocean and shrouding the body and all the other B.S they said they did to him.
3. I dunno, some important people said so.

Heh yeah, I especially like the notion of the kill team carrying around a DNA identification kit with samples from the OBL family for comparison. Maybe there will be a paper published on this?

One thing I haven't been able to find out: okay so they were in such a gawd awful hurry to dispose of Osama's body at sea, but what did they do with the bodies of his son Hamza and his anonymous wife?

Also why did they remove the body or bodies from the scene anyway? Why not call the press like they did for Saddam's sons?
