:) ... That's awfully kind of you to say cole, but since it hasn't even made it into the running in the un-official pole, I think we can safely say it's just not your typical sciforumers cup of tea. It happens. Thanks for the thumbs up nevertheless.

Oh no! My mistake. I did collect that logo in the round-up, and spend some time extracting from its background... but somehow failed to paste it into the final image.

Unfortunately, I am unable to edit the poll. I'm sorry. :(

No, no, no. no. My bad old man. Please, don't even think about apologising, nothing at all to apologise for. Wasn't having a go or anything, I just assumed the thing wasn't up to scratch....

Really, no offence either taken or even considered. :)
 
I voted for #5 because I feel it's the most professional looking of the choices shown. Many of you should consider, the logo before the current one (alien) wasn't so bad, I am a science fiction addict, which by their very nature enjoy the weird an outlandish. I believe the alien head was a better choice overall, then again many of you are right in saying it does somewhat make the forums seem to sci-fish.
 
According to final voting results, we got the winner of this logo contest.
The current logo (#1) with current background has won!
From now on it's the official SciForums.com logo.
