I thought science was build on "me see, me like, me read, me confirm, me was correct" ...celebration man..
Not if you read my links.
I let the scientists speak for me. What better summations than by actual scientists? They are the ones with knowledge of proofs and "acceptable" narratives.

I have said many times before. "Me see, Me like" is from reading the science, not from doing the science.

    I understand the confusion ;

Science is about ego , I get your point .

Science in the end though is about Truth .

IMO, if I understand the narrative, I understand the science......

You have shown many times that you rarely understand. What is even worse, even when you do understand, you stupidly reject out of your paranoia re mainstream science.
More ignorant crap. Your own ego is something to behold, when you make so many ignorant statements without support or links.
And of course the probable greatest of all Einstein was a very humble man.
Science is about knowledge through observation and experiment and models.
It's your own truth that is in question river, every time you set foot in this forum, you display anything and everything but truth.

    I'm out

Obviously my attempt to explain the nuances of your style of presentation is beyond my ability

Good luck with not pissing off to many other posters before you look in the mirror and ask yourself

    "COULD IT BE ME?"

    Two post the same??????

Hint WHO IS IT REPLYING TO

I had considered posting 10 but thought could be a tad excessive

The future holds the answer if two will be sufficient

Well, I am not going to change my thought processes and research habits because it pisses some people off. It reminds me of my elementary school days.

IMO, I present a well ordered argument along with examples of scientific proofs that form the basis on which I rest these arguments. If people refuse to examine the evidence or are unable to follow my logic, there is nothing I can do about it.

    But rest assured;
It'll never be me that starts with the "prejudicial" and "degrading" ad hominems.

IMO, that stops all productive exchanges before they even have a chance to develop.

Some time ago I predicted that eventually Write4U would find himself talking to river and no one else!
It seems to be gradually coming true. But maybe he's happy with that. I suppose it's better than talking to your cat.

    Just.

No, I present a productive argument. Sometimes it's the respondent who fails to present a constructive response and resorts to gutter style character assassination. I don't care how well educated a person is, if he/she is unable to offer a cogent argument in a civilized manner, I don't need their input. Nothing lost as far as I am concerned.

OTOH, if there is a problem with content (not style) of my propositions, a simple question for clarification is all that is necessary for me to develop my argument in greater detail or example, or amend the facts where that is appropriate.

river and I have diametrically opposed views, but our exchanges are civil and informative, and that counts in my book. It aids in the establishment of an informed citizenry on both sides.

    Obviously.

Try correcting my proposition as to the facts where appropriate, not the writing style in which I present my proposition. Now, that would be productive, imho.

This is not an English composition class. You want to critique my command of the English language or writing style, start a thread in "literature". I'd be very interested to see where my communication fails in composition and delivery. I used to make a living at it.....

Remember the OP question. Do you disagree with my position?

river and I have diametrically opposed views, ✓ OK

but our exchanges are civil ✓ OK

and informative, ? that would presume information was actually informative to the other person - helps if said other person understands said informative information

and that counts in my book.✓OK

It aids in the establishment of an informed citizenry on both sides. ? again depends if the information is actually informative and presumed to be flowing into a understanding receptacle

Of course, but as long as the other person continues to ask for additional information, I must assume that the person is at least "interested". And that's all I can ask for. It allows me to expand on my original posit and clarify any ambiguity in presentation.
Again true, but as long as there is expressed interest, why should I create a problem where apparently there exists none?
I am certainly not going to reject anyone who wishes to enter in a civil discussion about a subject in which
    I AM INTERESTED.......
